Social and emotional learning is not often addressed in school and sometimes not at home.
This program is a semester long multi day challenge. Students will learn how to communicate under stress, stop allowing others to dictate their actions and to set future goals utilizing new skills and methods.
After school programs and Summer sessions are very effective.
Alternative programming is a different way to reach some students. Programs often challenge their belief of what works for them. Over time new methods are learned through consistency and patience.

The maze of peer information: © The maze is set up with only one way through. The route must be discovered through trial and error with input from others.

The knowledge pipeline: © Using some props the students must figure out how to move the marble (Knowledge) to a point that represents graduation or other successes. The challenges are that the knowledge must always move forward and must never stop, fall or be handled by hand.
